Feazy's 1978 SUPER BEETLE CONVERTIBLE

OWNER: Christopher "Feazy" Feazel
VW: 1978 SUPER BEETLE CONVERTIBLE TRIPLE WHITE EDITION
ENGINE: 1600 DP carburated
MODS: All stock except the AE 1600 DP engine and a cd player.

For those who don't know me, I was raised around VWs all my life. My father was the most extreme VW fanatic I have ever met. He built VWs nonstop and always had at least 4 or 5 at a time. Mostly off road rails, dune buggys, bajas. My father past away 20 years ago and left me with all his VWs including his VWTrends featured baja (see photo page for more pics) I held on to everything for as long as I could but eventually had to sell it off before joining the Air Force in 97.
I couldn't wait to get back into VWs. So my 65 came along. (maybe featured soon if people don't start sending me features) For about 2 years of doing everything I could think of to it, I got bored. So I bought a 73 Beetle to build from the ground up. More than a handful for me.
Then I run into a guy who sees my 65 and we start talking VWs and he says he has a 78 super he wants to get rid of. I tell him I have no room or time for another bug but he made an offer I couldn't pass up. Don't ask ;) Well here she is. 6 weeks after I bought her. tons of new stuff and back on the road.
Reviving a dying breed!
